PI article delayed

Hi team-

Sorry to keep you all guessing- the article for the PI got delayed because they wanted to hire a photographer in St Lou to get Drew's picture. So, it (maybe) will be printed tomorrow. I will post a link as soon as it is available.

Thanks,
Martha

Urgent Need for Volunteers!!

Hi all- we just got cleared to sell Andrew's bracelets at the last four remaining Husky basketball games!! There is a game this Thursday against ASU at 8pm. The game on this Saturday against Arizona starts at noon. The other two games are against Seattle U, March 3, and WSU, on March 7.

We would like to have 4-8 volunteers per game. They are providing us with a table, so we would like to get a couple people to man the table while the other volunteers walk around the pavilion getting people pumped up to buy some bracelets! PLUS- you will get free entrance to these sold out bball games! :)

Please email me ASAP if you are able to work at any of these games- it will be a really great chance to sell a lot of bracelets for Andrew!

Also, Andrew should be posting a new entry with an update on completing his second round of chemo tonight or in the morning. He is currently back home in St. Louis recuperating. For those in Seattle- check out the PI in the morning, Jim Moore has written an article about Andrew that should be printed in tomorrow's paper.

Thanks!

At the Barber

This past weekend Andrew decided to get his head shaved. Here are a few pictures of his new look:

Andrew and Mom on Valentines night!

Just a note about Andrew's US Bank account. At this time, if you would like to make a donation to the US Bank account, the account is under my name, Elizabeth Denton. If you ask the teller to look up The Andrew Moritz Medical Fund, they will not be able to find it. We are working on this issue and will let you know once it's figured out.
Thank you again and keep selling those bracelets. Our second batch is in, so please let us know if you need more bracelets to sell or of course if you would like to purchase one.

We're selling bracelets and YOU need one!

*andrew getting his head shaved from a friend in houston*

hi friends! how is the bracelet selling going? we have been underway for a few days now and the word on the street is that they are moving quickly! we already have ordered another batch and expect them in the next several days. if you would like to purchase a bracelet to help offset Andrew's medical costs, please leave a comment on this post or email me at ekdenton@gmail.com. the bracelets have these four words on them:

ENERGY, ATTITUDE, LEADERSHIP, BELIEF

the colors are shown above - purple, green & blue. andrew chose these words not only to help him through his battle with cancer, but he also chose them for YOU! he wants you to wear this bracelet and be inspired. he wants you to live your life to the fullest and be a leader in all that you do. he wants you to work hard and do it with a positive attitude. we all know andrew does this! growing up with andrew and being only 2 years younger than him, i can honestly say that i remember him morning after morning getting out of bed and looking in the mirror and "pumping" himself up for the day. he wants you to do this in whatever situation or life circumstance you are in. his hope is that you get excited about these bracelets and sell them to everyone you know. they apply to everyone out there!

andrew continues to be in his recovery period and is feeling really good. he is hoping to catch a basketball game in town and keep resting up before he begins his second round of chemo on tuesday february 17. please be in prayer as he begins again next week. i added some pictures to the slideshow on the sidebar from my mom's visit to houston, so be sure to check it out. here are a few to enjoy:

The Bracelets are Here!

We are pleased to announce that we are in possession of the bracelets! Get excited about them, because we are! The colors are great and the message on the bracelet that Andrew chose is inspiring. You'll have to buy one to find out what it says...

If you would like to purchase a bracelet, to help support Andrew's costs, and you live in Seattle - -- please contact Martha Moritz at moritzms@gmail.com. If you do not live in Seattle, please email me at ekdenton@gmail.com. There are several bracelet sellers out there, so I can get you in touch with the appropriate person. We anticipate they will be in high demand, so we might move to selling them online, but we will keep you posted. Thank you and TGIF!

US Bank Account is Open!

Andrew & some Seattle friends

Hello to our wonderful Andrew Moritz support team! We have an account up and running through US Bank that is accepting donations for Andrew's medical costs. If you would like to make a donation through US Bank, please stop by your local US Bank branch and inform the teller you would like to make a donation to The Andrew Moritz Medical Fund. You can also make a check out to The Andrew Moritz Medical Fund and either mail to Andrew or myself.

Andrews first week of "rest" and no chemo has been underway since last Saturday. Just a few days after the chemo ended he started to feel sick, but reports today that he feels back to 100%. Please keep praying that Andrew will remain healthy throughout this process and especially pray that he does not contract a common cold or something of the sorts when out in public. There is not much else to report other than the fact that Andrew attended his first ever Yoga class today! Again, thank you for your continued support.
