We're selling bracelets and YOU need one!

*andrew getting his head shaved from a friend in houston*

hi friends! how is the bracelet selling going? we have been underway for a few days now and the word on the street is that they are moving quickly! we already have ordered another batch and expect them in the next several days. if you would like to purchase a bracelet to help offset Andrew's medical costs, please leave a comment on this post or email me at ekdenton@gmail.com. the bracelets have these four words on them:

ENERGY, ATTITUDE, LEADERSHIP, BELIEF

the colors are shown above - purple, green & blue. andrew chose these words not only to help him through his battle with cancer, but he also chose them for YOU! he wants you to wear this bracelet and be inspired. he wants you to live your life to the fullest and be a leader in all that you do. he wants you to work hard and do it with a positive attitude. we all know andrew does this! growing up with andrew and being only 2 years younger than him, i can honestly say that i remember him morning after morning getting out of bed and looking in the mirror and "pumping" himself up for the day. he wants you to do this in whatever situation or life circumstance you are in. his hope is that you get excited about these bracelets and sell them to everyone you know. they apply to everyone out there!

andrew continues to be in his recovery period and is feeling really good. he is hoping to catch a basketball game in town and keep resting up before he begins his second round of chemo on tuesday february 17. please be in prayer as he begins again next week. i added some pictures to the slideshow on the sidebar from my mom's visit to houston, so be sure to check it out. here are a few to enjoy:

Hi Andrew, It's me. Paul Beeman. I hope you remember me. I work two offices over from you. I decided to make it my task to keep you up to speed with what's happening here in St. Louis. Let's see....It was warm today......It's raining now.....Oh! I did buy a bracelet today from Jason at Clarkson. He charged me $45 and I think I saw him put $40 in his wallet. You might want to check into that. I also noticed he's wearing at least 30 bracelets on his arm, himself. And when he gave me the one I bought, I had to wait for him to take his shoe off and give me one from off his ankle. Pretty strange, watching him try to wrestle it around his sock. Anyeay, I chose a green bracelet. Well, it's mostly green. It has some black fuzz from Jason's socks too.
Ummm, let's see. What else...It snowed a couple weeks ago. And then it was sunny. You know, maybe I should just be your local St. Louis weather updater person. Anyway, give me a ring sometime, especially if you want to know how the weather is here. Can't wait til you get back.

Drew, it has been so inspiring to sell these bracelet's. My original plan was to get all the people we know mutually from FQ and UW...I then brought them to work and would you believe it..I SOLD OUT!!! Man, it's such a reminder of what a great place we live in. None of these people know you, but were so interested in your story and were willing to pitch in..I was floored..I totally need another batch as I haven't even gotten to my original target ...everyone want's to be apart of something so great...the year of the comeback..so perfectly put..I have three and wear them everyday..As you go into your second round on Tuesday..please know we are all rooting for you and are here for you in anyway..You define: ENERGY, ATTITUDE, LEADERSHIP, and BELIEF..We are all better people by having you in our lives..much love..Siobhan

Andrew,

Beeman is lying. He made me split the money with him and said something about betting on the UMSL/Maryville women's basketball game. As far as the sock fuzz goes, I don't know what he's talking about. I don't wear socks at work or ever for that matter.

I remember playing hoops with you at Laurelhurst Gymnasium many years back - and always being frustrated that you seemed to be so dominant on the court while always having a smile on your face.

Here's to hoping you carry that smile with you and wipe the floor with this disease. Kick its ass, man! - Be well Andrew.
