Change of floors

Andrew was deemed stable enough today to be moved out of the ICU. They gave Andrew a big double room with a view of the city. Sweet! He is completely off his antibiotics and blood pressure medicine and is on a very low dose of steroids and pain meds. The doctor thought that he did not in fact have an infection but instead was extremely dehydrated.

Hope everyone is having a great start to their week.

Good morning,

Thanks for the update!

I had the opportunity to learn of Andrew's journey this past weekend. My mother was admitted to the ICU on the same floor as Andrew on Friday evening which caused our paths to intersect as I began to hear Andrew's story from his father while waiting on my mother in the ICU. While I didn't have the opportunity to meet Andrew, the stories told to me in the visiting room about Andrew by his father and other friends and family left me in absolute awe of Andrew's courage, love, and determination. I look forward to following this blog as the journey contines...

Blessings,
John
